Ayumi Ishida (石田 亜佑美 Ishida Ayumi , born on January 7, 1997 in Miyagi Prefecture)[1] is a Japanese pop singer. She is a tenth-generation member of the idol group Morning Musume.[1][2] Prior to joining Morning Musume, Ishida was an official backup dancer for the Avex Trax girl group Dorothy Little Happy.[3][4]

In 2011, Ayumi Ishida participated in the 10th generation auditions for Morning Musume. Throughout September, she appeared weekly on the TV show Hello Pro! Time in the segment dedicated to the auditions.
On September 29, 2011, at a concert at Nippon Budokan, which was part of Morning Musume Concert Tour 2011 Aki Ai Believe: Takahashi Ai SotsugyōKinen Special, it was announced that Ayumi Ishida passed the auditions alongside 3 other girls: Haruna Iikubo, Masaki Satō, and Haruka Kudō. [2][5] But before joining morning musume she was in a group called Dorothy Little Happy as a back up dancer.
trivia Trivia: She had been taking singing and dancing classes for 2 years prior to joining Morning Musume.
Tsunku called her performance skills high quality. She was formally part of a local group called b minor. Before she joined H!P, she was a back-up dancer for Dorothy Little Happy under the Avex company. She hates mushrooms and shellfish.
